To serve the 60,000 tourists that debark from the Staten Island Ferry daily, emphas!s designed and built an interactive welcome and information center in the concourse of the St. George Terminal. The center includes a visitor service desk, brochure racks, and a video projection with motion graphics. The internally lit glass pylon has a large-scale area map, interpretive text, LED event listings, and two touch screen interactive computers that provide information about cultural and historical attractions, as well as dining options. The Terminal also features two impressive fish tanks and emphas!s created additional touch screen interactive that displays educational information and connects to the tourist information center.
